Welcome back to Rockschools and best wishes for 2011 to you all. We hope you all had a fantastic time over Christmas and the New Year and we look forward to seeing everyone again at the start of our Spring Term. Rockschool at Towcester starts on Saturday 8 January, followed by Brackley on Tuesday 11 January and Towcester evening on Wednesday 12 January. Individual tuition at all schools starts on these dates too.
Thank you to everyone who took part in our concerts at the end of last term and to all in the audience for their support of the bands. The standard of performance from all bands was excellent and there is lots of potential for us to build on for next term, well done to all. Thank you too to all who so generously supported the collections at the concerts for Meningitis UK which raised a grand total of £563.96 for the Mark Tanton Tribute Fund.
Rockschools fees are due on the first week of term and prompt payment would be appreciated. Due to ever increasing costs it has become necessary to introduce a rise in fees for these next two terms to £92.00 per term. Yearly paid fees will not be affected and there will be no increase in individual tuition fees.
We still have places for students who attend any of our Rockschools for individual tuition to join our bands in Rockschools where we cater for all ages and abilities. Please contact David Taylor at davidtaylor@rockschools.co.uk for further information. There are also places left for tuition in Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano, Keyboard and Singing at all centres. If you are interested in booking lessons please contact Ros Miles on 07738 974220 or rosmiles@rockschools.co.uk.
We look forward to seeing you all again on Saturday 8 January or during the following week.
